A brutal and destructive rain wave will fall on Geneva, and for good reason! Twenty years after its cancellation due to incitement to satanism, PTR and Daily Rock are joining forces to revive the Brutal Festival from its ashes!
Other artists will be added to the Line Up along with Blockheads and Karras.
BLOCKHEADS
For the band's 30th anniversary, Blockheads released their sixth album, Trip To The Void, on Lixiviat and Bones Brigade. Both denser and darker, it marks the return of a group that has never ceased to believe in an honest and unadorned form of grindcore, turned towards social, ecological and egalitarian themes.
KARAS
During one of those rainy and dark nights of the Parisian winter, the 3 of us went to a dismal old porn cinema. We came to see a screening of William Friedkin's 1973 classic The Exorcist. No one else had come to see this masterpiece on that special night. We met after this strange screening, talked about the film and the fact that we disagree on the fate of Father Karras after life. So, as a way of resurrection, we decided to give it a second chance by the only way we know how: play music and play it loud! This is how the Karras group was born, which will give you its deafening way of reasoning.

EXORBITANT PRICES MUST DIMINISH
Exorbitant Prices Must Diminish is a Swiss grindcore band formed in 2016. With already a demo and a split with Nothing Clean under their belt, the band have scoured the DIY scene in different countries. After having toured this year in the Czech Republic and England, the group will finalize their first album which will be released in 2023.
VERSUS
Originally from Geneva, Versus is a Brutal Hardcore Punk band. The group was formed in 2013, composed of musicians from different backgrounds, having in common the love for wild music. As the name suggests, the music and lyrics revolve around the concept of duality and confrontation. It is defined by hardcore screams responding to death songs, accompanied by riffs coming straight from punk and extreme metal, themselves supported by D-beat and blast beat. After the release of a first EP in 2015, the band has been actively touring the local scene. In 2021, following numerous line-up changes, the group released their first album: Endless Duality.
