The Lebanese trumpeter shares a beautiful history with Switzerland. It was here, in 2017, that he was spotted by Quincy Jones. In the following years, Ibrahim Maalouf paid tribute to the legendary producer during the celebration of his 85th birthday at the Montreux Jazz Club and joined him on stage to revisit Michael Jackson classics. A daring composer and true showman, he draws equally from jazz, classical, pop and oriental sounds. In 2017, he received the César for best film music for In the Forests of Siberia. In 2021, the trumpeter was invited on the set of the Colbert Late Show alongside Jon Batiste and played at Carnegie Hall with, among others, Angélique Kidjo, Josh Groban and Philip Glass. His sound mixes will resonate once again in Geneva in the Alhambra Hall.
