This edition is not an edition like the others. Indeed, the Geneva lux festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Already. Primarily decorative in its beginnings, the event has become much more over the years. It now displays a real cultural dimension by exhibiting creations which are works in their own right, signed by recognized lighting artists. Some works are original, others travel across Europe and stop off in the Harbor of Geneva, like a museum hosting a temporary exhibition.

But the success of Geneva Lux is also found in its popular dimension, here it is the works that reach out to the public and not the other way around. Finally, the festival allows us to enhance the City and in particular its Harbor by highlighting it even in the heart of winter. Because a festival like Geneva Lux also contributes to strengthening the attractiveness of Geneva by encouraging people to go out and come and enjoy a moment of urban poetry for free.

For this 10th edition, with the entire festival team, I am very happy to offer you around thirty luminous works, a good third of which have never been seen in Geneva. Several astonishing performances will also brighten up your weekend evenings during the festival. Furthermore, like last year, the public will be able to have a glass of mulled wine or tea at the festival refreshment bar, located on Quai du Mont-Blanc.
