Trumpeter Hermon Mehari was born and raised in Kansas City, USA, his family having fled the war in Eritrea in the 1980s. An adopted Parisian since 2015, the gifted instrumentalist reconnects with his origins and ancestral culture in this project which connects the melodies of the Horn of Africa to free and narrative jazz.
