Gilberto Gil, the great renovator of “Música popular brasileira” and the precursor of “Tropicalismo” who merged Brazilian pop, rock and avant-garde music at the end of the 1960s, bids farewell to the stages who represented his world. During his last tour “Aquele Abraço”, he will delight his fans one last time and will play, if not all, at least many of his great hits from his immense repertoire of the last 50 years.

During his last concert in French-speaking Switzerland at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva, Gilberto Gil, who has received numerous Grammy Awards, will prove that he is one of the greatest singers, guitarists and composers of our time and one of the main ambassadors of Brazilian music. At his farewell concert, we can bet that he will enthuse his audience – the perfect opportunity for a benevolent “Adeus”.
