YASMIN HAMDAN

Yasmine Hamdan She first made a name for herself on the music scene with the pioneering Beirut-based indie electro duo Soapkills, which she co-founded with Zeid Hamdan in the late 1990s. Settling in Paris in 2005, Yasmine collaborated with Madonna's producer, Mirwais, on the YAS project, releasing the elegant and club-ready album Arabology in 2009 on Universal.
Since then, she has gained international recognition as a solo singer-songwriter and producer, skillfully blending diverse influences: pan-Arab roots, pop and poetic lyrics, electro, soul and guitar melodies.
Yasmine Hamdan He collaborated with filmmakers such as Elia Suleiman and Jim Jarmusch, and toured the world to promote his albums Ya Nass (2013) and Al Jamilat (2017).
His third album, titled “I remember I forget و ذ ر ”, was released on September 19th.
