With his "World Sinfonia" ensembles and albums, he has repeatedly demonstrated a musical curiosity beyond the boundaries of jazz: Al Di Meola has written jazz history and, along with Pat Metheny, can undoubtedly be counted among the most outstanding jazz guitarists of our time.

With his current Acoustic Trio, Al Di Meola picks up the thread without copying the "old days": percussion and subtle electronic effects create a catchy and modern sound.
