Description:To soften the first frosts of autumn, the City of Carouge is pleased to offer you three magnificent classical music concerts each year during the month of November.
On November 17, 2024 at 5 p.m., Estelle Revaz, cellist, will perform at the Temple de Carouge. She is an internationally renowned Swiss artist, invited to the most prestigious stages and festivals, plays a G. Grancino cello (1679) from the same period as the composer Barone Dall'Abaco… “A strong symbol!” she says, moved.
She will present Louis XIV, a capricious cello, performing “Les 11 Caprices” for solo cello by Clément Ferdinand Barone Dall'Abaco.
This Belgian composer of Italian origin, who lived in the 18th century, wrote a cycle of original pieces which still today allow us to rediscover the technical possibilities of the cello as well as its dramaturgical potential.
