Come in! Every year, Cirque Knie criss-crosses Switzerland with its artists, animals and comedians. He reserves a modern, cheerful and passionate show for his audience. Known for providing entertainment that appeals to all generations, the Swiss National Circus Knie has been one of Europe's leading circuses for over 200 years.
A family tradition
Every year, the Knie family goes on tour with their artists and their animals, and presents an international show in some 25 locations throughout Switzerland. During this period, the family business from Rapperswil employs around 140 people of 16 different nationalities. The circus is in the hands of the seventh generation of the Knie family, with Géraldine Knie as artistic director, Maycol Errani as technical director and Doris Knie as administrative director.
