This breathtaking, captivating and magical show has become in a very short time one of the greatest choreographic productions in the world. Nearly 100,000 spectators attended the major anniversary tour of “Lord of the Dance” in 2022. The success story continues: “Lord of the Dance” returns to the big stages of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2024.
In spring 2024, the famous “clack” of shoes will finally be heard again on the biggest stages. With spectacular innovations and original developments, Michael Flatley will not only revive the original concept of “Lord of the Dance”, he will transpose it into our times and thus delight new generations of fans. Described by the Los Angeles Times as “grandiose,” the show, which features more than 150,000 shoe clicks per performance, will transport audiences to a time and place of myth and fantasy. Its explosive cocktail of captivating performances, skillfully staged lights and spectacular pyrotechnics will thrill audiences.
Fans will be treated to a fantastic journey made up of refined costumes, sensational choreography, modern technique, light shows and countless surprising moments: 40 of the world's greatest dancers will present, under the direction of Michael Flatley and with new music by composer Gerard Fahy, a show combining the best of tradition, entertainment, music and dance.
