MOTORPSYCHO
Motorpsycho develops a unique sound tinged with grunge, heavy metal and indie rock, while incorporating noise elements taken from Deathprod. The Norwegian trio likes to venture into a mix of different sounds and styles. It's a wonderful combination of progressive, psych, alternative, folk and hard rock, combined with jazz and country, all sprinkled with a hint of old school heavy metal.

Agreeing that Rainbow Rising was the best album ever recorded by anyone (an assertion often repeated later and still today often amended and corrected), the two Norwegian metalheads Hans Magnus 'Snah' Ryan and Bent Sæther attended the same high school and played together in their first bands in the town of Steinkjer in central Norway.

After graduating they separated, but less than two years later, in 1989, they met again, this time in Trondheim, where Bent was studying at university and working as a DJ at the radio station. local university. Having started a band for fun with Kjell Runar 'Killerkjell' Jensen and a few other DJ friends from work, 'Aural Blow-job' needed a new guitarist when a chance meeting on the bus brought them together. Later that fall, a record-hunting trip to London gave the power trio a new name, Motorpsycho was born.
