Originally from the working-class neighborhoods of Mexico City, the Gama brothers bring up to date the rich heritage of the marimba, a melodic and iconic percussive instrument of their family and culture for generations. Through their musical project Son Rompe Pera, they extend the repertoire of the marimba, traditionally synonymous with folklore, by opening it to cumbieros, punk, garage and urban universes, thus establishing it sustainably in the 21st century. Their concerts offer a unique adrenaline rush, we will not be disappointed!
