A new invitation to spend the evening with musicians and dancers around a common passion: Argentine tango.
Composed of Santiago Alvarezun on harmonica, Mariana Mariñelarena on percussion and guitarist Emiliano Faryna, the Trio Argento transmits their passion for the folklore of their country of origin, Argentina, and for tango. They interpret and compose within this rich musical universe, while exploring new sounds.

Santiago Alvarez
Santiago Alvarez is from Buenos Aires. He studied the harmonica with Franco Luciani. In 2010 he formed the tango group Tanino Dúo (2010-2019), with which he traveled extensively in Europe and recorded three albums. Álvarez belongs to a new generation of Argentine harmonica players who have dedicated themselves to giving a new voice to the Argentine harmonica, in the tradition of Hugo Díaz. In 2019 he released his first solo work entitled “Domingo”, specially dedicated to recreating, from the chromatic harmonica, the music of the coast.
Mariana Marinelarena
Mariana Mariñelarena is from Buenos Aires. With already 20 years of professional career, she specializes in Argentinian folklore. She studied with great percussionists such as Facundo Ferreyra, Facundo Guevara, Carlos Rivero, Rodolfo Sanchez, Ruben Lobo, among others. She is part of different groups and has accompanied great references in Argentine music such as Jaime Torres, Melania Perez, Sara Mamani, Florencia Davalos. She has performed in the best halls of the Argentine music scene. She also gives private lessons, courses and workshops.
Emiliano Faryna
Guitarist born in Buenos Aires in 1980. Composer and arranger with more than 20 years of experience, he participates in various artistic projects, among which we can mention Rudi Flores Trio, Ventarrón & Varela, Colacho Brizuela cuarteto, Alejandro Brittes, Pulice/De Vicenzo, Luisa Calcumil, Noelia Sinkunas. He has toured extensively in South America and Europe. He recently recorded his first EP “Umbral” with his own music, and the album “Una tarde”, with singer Luisina Mathieu.
