Combining vocals, captivating synths and acoustic drums, the debut album from Swiss group Wabjie interweaves jazz with a touch of unclassifiable artists such as Radiohead, Björk, Erykah Badu and Fiona Apple. Wabjie's music twists and bends to seek the rays of the sun through which it can flower and bloom. With Michel Wintsch, Soraya Berent and Samuel Jakubec, Wabjie presents an organism that takes root in jazz to grow and take on a life of its own.
