Founded in 1973 by musicians, the Association for the Encouragement of Improvised Music (AMR) aims to encourage, help and promote, in Geneva and its region, the development and practice of jazz and improvised music, mostly from Afro-American music. It has developed on three dimensions: training, work support and dissemination.
