Born in Kampala, Uganda, Awori joined her mother in Geneva at the age of 11 where she would live for most of her life. Singer, rapper, composer with various influences, she carries the essence of musical Pan-Africanism which she broadcasts in English, Luganda or Swahili with a velvet voice on hip hop, soul and R'n'B rhythms. A singer with committed lyrics, she seeks to infuse the spirits with a message of hope. In March 2021, she released the album Ranavalona with the talented beatmaker Twani on the Galant Records label. An airy electronic hip-hop universe, applauded by the press, which will bewitch you.
