Description:It is the Slavic soul that invites itself to the Ella Fitzgerald Stage for this concert by the Camerata Pelsonore, a young Hungarian group made up of 21 musicians, which is performing for the first time in Geneva. In 1877, when the young Janáček composed Idylle, he was still far from having found his style. This suite in six movements is a luminous work of youth, at the antipodes of the music usually associated with the author of Jenufa. Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings, composed in 1875, exudes happiness in life, the work is the fruit of a happy period in the musician’s life. This program which brings together two emblematic composers of Slavic music is an invitation to indulge in the charm and freshness of ample and generous melodies. A music to enjoy without moderation.
