Leaders of Geneva's Anglophone Hip Hop scene and a sure force for underground rap that refuses to be left behind, Captains of the Imagination has been creating and reinventing itself for nearly a decade.

Starting out as a traditional DJ/MC/beatmaker formula, they evolved through different sounds to collaborate with some of the best jazz musicians and avant-garde producers in their region. Along the way, they racked up opening acts from legendary artists such as The Pharcyde, Yasiin Bey, Big Daddy Kane and Masta Ace, and graced the stages of some of the country's must-see festivals. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in their stunning music videos, Captains of the Imagination are sure to leave lasting memories for newcomers and longtime fans alike.

Fingerprint is the 6th studio album from Captains Of The Imagination, an EP entirely produced by Josra and Bdance, beatmakers for the French label Sorry I'm Late. Imagine, Evita Koné & Dr Koul fully immerse themselves in this new aesthetic without betraying their group's identity: introspective lyrics, dynamic flows, soulful melodies, guest musicians and orchestral arrangements. The project is versatile and mature, full of catchy hooks and punchy beats, and still containing messages deeper below the surface.
