CLOSET DISCO QUEEN & THE FLYING RACLETTES is an extended version of the instrumental duo composed of Luc Hess and Jona Nido (Coilguns and Hummus Records). The band originally started in 2014 as a joke with the ambition of becoming a talentless version of THE MARS VOLTA. Mission accomplished ? Nobody cares. BUT with the addition of Kevin Galland and Chadi Messmer in THE FLYING RACLETTES, rest assured that this collaborative album – shamelessly named 'Omelette du Fromage' – will make you want to shake your cheese-filled belly. Some say it could even save the world, but as of now no one can guarantee that. Anyway, this is a promotional text written in five minutes, supposed to make you want to book us. We hope it worked. French bass/drums duo formed in 2014, Nevraska is held by bass and drums, accompanied by a sampler and a few pedals. Their music leads you, drags you, guides you and sometimes consoles you, in a clever mix of progressive rock, math rock, post rock and noise. Pascal and Jérémy build hypnotic, underground pieces, and sublimate their energy by injecting deviations / nods to jazz and bluespunk. Do you see the rage? Do you see the jubilation? Do you find them difficult to match? And yet…. Nevraska will make you forget, among other things, that the group is composed of only 2 musicians.
