Collective Nocturne x Helvetiarockt @PTR
As part of the series of events to celebrate PTR's 40th anniversary, Helvetiarockt and the Nocturne Collective are joining forces to put together a 100% FINTA line-up (women, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people).
Helvetiarockt is an association based in Bern which has been working since 2009 for equality of opportunity and gender in the field of current music at national level.
The Nocturne Collective is a Geneva association by and for young people which campaigns for a rich, lively and diversified nightlife, notably through the management and provision of the Terreau and Groove rooms.
LAKNA
At the age of 24, LAKNA proves his ease and stage talent through the behemoths of the Swiss music scene such as Montreux Jazz, Gurten or even l'Estival Open-air, Cully Jazz, Les Créatives, Les Georges, Balelec. His art is composed of sensitive texts and rhythmic melodies with rnb/afro/pop/soul atmospheres. Daughter of a Burkinabé Griot and a Genevan actress, LAKNA has always been immersed in a great musical culture.
LAKNA's music is playlisted by all national radio stations and is listened to throughout the world and appears everywhere in the press in Switzerland and around the world, notably the RTS newscast 12:45 p.m. & 7:30 p.m., TV5monde which names her “the rising star of Swiss R'n'B”. LAKNA is also the only Swiss artist to be chosen to celebrate the Francophonie in Brazil in 2024. Her third EP “(UTC-0)” will be released in January 2024, until then new singles and clips from the latter will be revealed.
SOUKEY
The musician Soukey deals with a vast range of feelings in her texts, which she embraces as a young adult in the making; sometimes clubby, sometimes melancholic, always accompanied by soaring sounds. The main thing to remember: no frame.
Habiboo
Habiboo is an Italian-Tunisian artist, emerging from the Geneva music scene. She mixes a set of music from the Arab world, bailefunk and classics from the 2000s. Through the creation of a safe space, she would like to exchange freely and culturally with her audience.
Marara Kelly
Marara Kelly makes mixes where her research around baile funk and technobrega collide. With numerous elements of pop culture presented through remixes, it invites the public to identify with a foreign sound of which the beat is the disruptive element. She interprets the practice of remixing pop songs, one of the most present characteristics of the baile funk and technobrega scene, as a gesture of reappropriation of the common imagination and decolonization through belonging, which translates into music full of fun, sensuality and power. Her musical research starts from the sounds of the Brazilian Amazon where she was born, and intersects with the baile funk of Rio, where she lived for several years. She mixed crossing the continental country of Brazil and the European continent in very diverse contexts. These trips have greatly influenced her way of mixing, which could be imagined as the gesture of tying a knot that connects the places she passes through, her identity, feelings of belonging and policies of coexistence. Mixing for her means being able to share a little of what is happening in your body while a Brazilian body means being able to mix your culture with unknown bodies through music, dance and your artistic practice, the performance.
