Description:

DENGUE DENGUE DENGUE DENGUE
Dengue Dengue Dengue is a duet of Tropical Bass. Behind the masks are Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira, two producers, dj's and graphic designers from Lima, Peru. Their work explores the rhythms of Peru and other parts of the world by mixing new and old, analog and digital, to create unique sound and imagery. Their musical explorations range from psychedelic cumbia to dub, salsa and classical music, dub, salsa to footwork, tribal to techno. Their visual and sound palette continues to expand and add new flavors to this melting pot.

A concert in collaboration with ByteFM

Alma Negra – Live Band

With roots in the Cape Verde Islands, the twins defined the Alma Negra collective. Today, they are reforming as a group and calling on talented friends from the Basel jazz scene. In the end, an exciting game between club sounds, jazz and traditional rhythms.
Traditions and rhythms traveled around the world with men and thus marked the birth of new music. Alma Negra has well understood that musical influences remain marked by migration. Alma Negra is also defined by her socialization in Europe and knows not to romanticize or imitate what is particular and exotic; everything is integrated with a certain evidence in his musical biography.
Alma Negra has already made a name for himself in the club scene as a producer, DJ and music explorer. The time had come to form a group. By exchanging with the musicians Cédric Vogel (electric piano & synth) and Luca Glausen (drums), the group is enriched with new influences. Live, the group then becomes a tool to discover new paths. Alma Negra plays with different popular sounds from different eras – jazz fusion, discohouse or afrobeat.
The symbiosis between tradition, the spirit of jazz and integration into contemporary club culture is actively sought. Diversity and a broad musical anchoring characterize Alma Negra, whose objective remains their transmission.
