Elina Duni is an Albanian-Swiss singer who has been signed since 2012 to the legendary jazz label ECM Records.
Her unique blend of traditional Albanian songs with jazz has propelled her to international success in recent years.
For this new project, Elina Duni is joined by Rob Luft, BBC New Generation Artist and one of the most fascinating guitarists on the current London jazz scene.
In his original and colorful playing, he incorporates the riffs of West Africa, Celtic folk, minimalist textures and thus finds in the singing of Elina Duni an ideal partner.
Together, they take us on a journey where immemorial songs still sound so current and true as well as original compositions that challenge us and leave us dreaming.
On this occasion, the duo is joined by drummer Corrie Dick who, thanks to his grace, adds a delicate and refined touch to this project.
