From December 9 to 10, in the old town, Compagnie 1602 depicts daily life in Geneva at the end of the 16th century. Halberdiers, arquebusiers, horsemen and historical figures parade in the costumes of yesteryear. Demonstrations of musket firing, cannon firing or halberd manipulation are also organized.

Sunday, December 10 from 5 p.m., don't miss the parade of the great historic Escalade procession, made up of some 800 costumed volunteers on foot or on horseback, leaving from the Parc des Bastions.

The Compagnie de 1602 enlivens the streets of the old town of Geneva. Groups of fifes, drums and brass, arquebusiers, pikemen and cavalry patrols or even our “Falco” cannon, parade, parade and present life in the 17th century.

During the weekend you have the opportunity to eat in the city.

Our stalls offer the Escalade badge, publications and many other products for sale.

In the evening, the streets are lit by torch bearers.

During the big procession, the sale of mulled wine and lanterns is offered to you.
