Godspeed You! Black Emperor
For more than 25 years, the dazzling constellation GY!BE has been unleashing its uncompromising instrumental post-rock, off the star system, in a world where every nuance of optimism is accompanied by a glimmer of danger.
Fun fact: the leaders of post-rock made in 2000 – which includes heavyweights such as Sigur Rós or Explosions in the Sky – take their name from a 1976 Japanese black and white documentary about a rebel motorcycle gang , the Black Emperors, and their lives on the edge of legality. Like the film, the band from Montreal meanders between orchestral road trips, nocturnal escapes and spitting postures, articulating its apocalyptic din of pale glows in heralding cracklings up to stroboscopic explosions. G_d's Pee AT STATE'S END, the collective's 10th opus wonderfully captures the grandeur and power of their symphonic rock and opens a window of hope in a world in perpetual struggle.

Marisa Anderson
Marisa Anderson is inspired by the history of the guitar and pushes the boundaries of tradition. His deeply original work applies elements of minimalism, electronic music and 20th century classical music to compositions based on blues, jazz, gospel and country music, reimagining the landscape of American music. For the New Yorker, Anderson is “one of the most singular guitarists of her generation”, while NPR considers her one of the “most powerful musicians of this era”. His work has been featured in Billboard, Rolling Stone, NPR, SPIN, Pitchfork, BBC and The Wire. She has participated in numerous festivals, including Big Ears, Pitchfork Midwinter, The Guess Who and the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

Anderson's discography includes six solo albums and numerous collaborations. Her latest album, Still, Here, received critical acclaim in September 2022. Anderson is sought after as a collaborator and songwriter. She recorded The Quickening in 2020 with Jim White (Dirty Three) and Lost Futures in 2021 with guitarist William Tyler, and has contributed to recordings by Matmos, Tara Jane O'Neil, Beth Ditto, Sharon Van Etten and Circuit Des Yeux, among others. She creates music for films and soundtracks, and recently contributed music to A Perfect Day For Caribou, which premiered in 2022 at the Locarno Film Festival.

Classically trained, she honed her skills playing in country, jazz and circus bands. She is currently touring extensively in Europe and North America.
