Description:

[ Grandmas House ] post-punk (UK)
Formed in late 2018, the English queer punk trio have taken the Bristol music scene by storm, creating a fresh and captivating post-punk sound that grabs you by the throat. Thrashing vocals, fast guitar riffs, hard-hitting drums, that sit between Motörhead, Courtney Barnett and The Slits.
After a sold-out show with Gender Roles, Rough Trade wrote, “Grandmas House makes tenacious, infectious punk rock that oscillates between the dark blackness of the Wytches and the rhythmic Riot Grrl of Big Joanie”. Other reviewers described them as “perhaps the most exciting band to emerge from the Bristol scene since IDLES”.

[ Grandma's Ashes ] Progressive rock (FR)
Grandma's Ashes is a female progressive rock power trio. For four years, the group has been inviting you on an introspective and transcendent musical journey on the roads of France.
Their first EP, “The Fates”, released in January 2021, tested to a singular vision of modern and narrative rock. On the dark, sometimes sarcastic texts, the voices of the three musicians intertwine. The lead vocals, clear and melodic, sublimate in contact with heavy and precise instrumentation.
If it constitutes a first piece in the building or rather, in the Gothic cathedral that Grandma's Ashes is building, the group has not yet finished incanting you.

[ Mambabites ] punk rock (CH)
Mambabites is a French-speaking Swiss female quartet that bites into punk rock. The group, formed in 2019, gives us an energetic and clearly wild sound: growling guitars, roaring bass and pounding drums. Fast riffs accompanied by snarling and melodic vocals and poignant backing vocals.
