For 34 years, the Jazz sur la Plage festival has taken up residence each summer in the village of Hermance. These editions have colored the cobblestones of the medieval town with little blue notes! Over the years, the festival has indeed managed to adapt and reinvent itself without losing sight of either its mission of sharing jazz music or its hallmark: the homemade touch.
How exactly?

The programming: On average, 60% of the artists come from the Geneva region (the other 40% come from the rest of Switzerland or France).
The products: the wine we sell is made by winemakers from the village of Hermance! The beers come from Calvinus (Geneva's very first microbrewery), the Sangria is made in Gy (with a secret recipe from our dear president), the apple juice from Meinier, and even the Cola is Swiss!
The organization: The association is small, and everyone gets involved in everything, especially during setup and teardown!

In addition to the local side, we try to reduce our ecological footprint as much as possible. Adopted in 2019, our ecological charter stipulates that:

• We do not sell PET bottles to the public.

• We do not produce festival glass. 

• The food we buy is Swiss, as organic as possible, and sourced from the Geneva region.

• We strive to strengthen our ties with TPG each year to facilitate travel by public transport.
