DATE UNIQUE IN THE WORLD / SHAKE VICTORIA HALL / SYMPHONIC LED ZEPPELIN / OSR ROCKS
The group that has enchanted more than a generation of rock lovers sees its work revisited during this exceptional performance concocted tailor-made for Geneva. Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog, Immigrant Song, Stairway to Heaven: for 50 years, Led Zep' songs have haunted the collective memory and inspired new generations of musicians. But how do they inspire the brilliant Jaz Coleman, British musician (also) who wrote – notoriously on tour in the squats of Geneva – the most famous pages of post-punk of the 80s? For this reunion with the city where he used the ropes of his early youth, the legendary founder of the no less legendary group Killing Joke has agreed to orchestrate for the OSR a revisit of which he alone has the secret! After the Doors, Pink Floyd, he tackles especially for Antigel to revisit Led Zeppelin in symphonic mode while inviting the OSR to sound rock'n'roll! Nearly 100 musicians, timeless melodies completely revisited: it is a completely new spirit of Led Zeppelin that will hover over Geneva during this first collaboration as unique as it is exceptional between the OSR and Antigel.
Led Zeppelin only existed for a dozen years and only released eight albums during its existence. But the impact of their music would make Led Zeppelin one of the greatest rock bands of all time. In that short time, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant managed to become rock gods. There are countless hits and rock classics. There was a time when they were the biggest band in the world; they are still major rock 'n' roll influences decades after their formation.
