On Reunion Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Lindigo has been the most popular maloya group for more than ten years. His motto: “When you know where you come from, you know where you are going”, his style: maloya power. Led by Olivier Araste, the musicians are influenced by their daily life on the island, as evidenced by their latest album Kosa Néna which was recorded at home “in their kitchen over a wood fire, at the back of the courtyard near the chicken coop, under the sheet metal, in the cane fields and by the river”.
