The Mapping Festival is organized by PPING, a Geneva-based non-profit cultural association which has around thirty members in 2024, including many active artists in its chosen field. Its aim is to promote audiovisual, technological and transdisciplinary arts on the French-speaking artistic scene and to promote it internationally. PPING organizes several events per year, collaborating with numerous cultural partners, associations and institutions. She created the Mapping Festival in 2005, which takes place in May each year and presents exhibitions, installations, performances as well as conferences and workshops.

She regularly invites artists from all over the world to present their works in Geneva and lead workshops. Artists from the region as well as students from art schools are also regularly invited to create synergies and meetings with the aim of positioning themselves as a real platform for exchange and transmission of knowledge. Productions, co-productions and residencies are regularly organized to encourage creation in the field of technological and transdisciplinary arts.

The programming is always cutting-edge but accessible, in order to reach an increasingly broad audience, initiated or amateur, both local and international. Spectators and participants are encouraged to discover, experience and feel works that offer new ways of reception. With technological art, the public becomes an actor, player and instigator.
