Mick Harvey & Sometimes With Others
Musician, producer and composer Mick Harvey has been talking about him for 45 years. Best known as a member of The Birthday Party and The Bad Seeds and for his longtime collaboration with PJ Harvey and Nick Cave. Besides composing the music for a dozen feature films and numerous short films and documentaries, Harvey has also released 8 solo albums over the past two decades. n 2023, Harvey will present material from his new duet album with Mexican singer Amanda Acevedo in a series of concerts alongside Berliners Sometimes With Others & JP Shilo. Sometimes With Others is a musical collective that offers a mix of rock, drone, minimalism, jazz and blues, all brought together on their first album “Nous”, released on the Hamburg label Grand Chess. Shilo, known for his work with the Hungry Ghosts and with Rowland S. Howard, will perform songs from his solo album “Invisible You”.

JP Shilo
JP Shilo is actually the stage name of John Brooks, former member of Hungry Spirits, legendary Australian instrumental slowcore band. The enigmatic multi-instrumentalist JP Shilo is also known for his contributions to albums by Mick Harvey, Rowland S. Howard, Adalita, The Triffids or The Blackeyed Susans. Shilo's unique musical talent is recognized worldwide. He collaborates on his personal project with Mick Harvey and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth.
