Universal Sounds Presents: Mike Love in concert at the Alhambra on June 27, 2022

Mike Love has musical foundations rooted in spirituality and music, and finds his inspiration in the messages of Reggae and Rastafari.
He likes to mix the sounds of progressive and classic rock, pop, R&B, soul, blues, flamenco, jazz and much more.
Healing is at the heart of his music.

Born on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii, Mike Love quickly established a deep connection with nature and fueled his message of returning to a more natural and spiritual way of life.
Supported by his father and grandfather, both composers, he picked up a guitar at the age of 15 and began to shape his own musical identity.

In 2008, he developed a unique one-man style, using loops, multiple instruments and an array of different vocal techniques and musical styles.
In December 2012, Love released his fan-favorite and critically acclaimed debut solo album, “The Change I'm Seeking”.
He also tackled more passionate topics on the album, with tracks like “Earthlings” showing his desire to “veganize” the world and raise awareness of the injustices of animal cruelty, and “No More War. Love has thus found his voice and is now ready to share his music with the world.
With the success of a handful of viral YouTube videos and instant classics like 'Permanent Holiday', 'Barbershop' and 'Human Race', his fanbase is rapidly growing around the world.

He has since released a second album “Love Will Find a Way” and a third in 2016 “Love Overflowing”.
