Heart, emotion and passion rather than pure functionality – these are Tama Sumo's hallmarks as a DJ in a nutshell. She started in 1993 at the Drama bar in Berlin/Kreuzberg, one of the first bars to have its own weekend DJ and an important meeting place for the scene before hitting the clubs.
The Drama was one of the few places at the time playing house music, when techno dominated most other clubs and bars. Tama Sumo played a lot of New York style vocal house and quickly became a regular DJ behind the decks on gay Saturdays at Café Moskau. In early 1994, she started playing regularly at the legendary Club Globus/Tresor and became the club's resident DJ for about 10 years. She began incorporating different genres of electronic music into her house sets, a mix that she has steadily improved over the years and still plays a big part in her current sets.
“For me, being a DJ means being in contact with the public without words, interacting with them and giving them what they need while remaining true to myself. It is also fundamental to my work that I manage to let free to the music, the crowd and myself. I have to put my head off and go with the flow. I like to create and play with different moods and atmospheres. And I'm always fascinated that music can unleash a huge amount of energy and pleasure.”
Not content with remaining static as a DJ, Tama Sumo sets have grown to cover House, Techno, Jazz, Disco, Broken Beat, Soul, Funk, Afro Beat.

Prosumer is old school. His love and allegiances for all things raw and instinctive are well documented, whether it's his monthly NTS show or his sets on dance floors around the world. He is attracted to records that are born from the joy of people who have found a way to express their voice, even before having dealt with the mechanisms. Prosumer's sound is often imbued with a raw directness that he has once described as “the equivalent of one leg in the air”. Concerts in bars and clubs, as well as a broadcast on public access radio became the first places where he was able to share his music.
With more than 25 years of experience as a DJ, working for Hard Wax, being one of the first residents of Berghain's Panorama Bar, recording for Running Back, Fabric and Ostgut Ton, being present at the Downlow in Glastonbury and many other clubs around the world, Prosumer's greatest joy has remained the same: “I'm just happy to be able to share the music that interests me”. It's this excitement and attention that makes his sets intimate and special, bringing the wonder he felt when he was “playing disco” in his parents' basement on a dance floor near you. .

Steve RIOU is Se-Te-Ve. Active for more than ten years, this fervent defender of vinyl is inspired by artists such as Kerri Chandler, Juan Atkins or Art of Noise. Energetic and exciting, his dj sets invite you on a journey between Chicago, Detroit and New York. Se-Te-Ve co-managed Plak records for nearly two years. He plays regularly with the greatest and is also resident at the Audio Club (Cargography) in Geneva. His 90s house style subtly flirts with deep, dub and raw techno sounds. A matter of wax & only.
