While Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains has established itself as a benchmark of French pop for the past 15 years, Lysistrata is following the same path as a representative of the new generation of saturated and casual rock. On paper, finding these two names invested in the same project would have seemed unlikely. It is however very real with PARK, a new group composed of Frànçois Marry, Ben Amos Cooper, Théo Guéneau and Max Roy. PARK is innocence. The innocence of his formation, a few unused riffs on the side of the first, an invitation to share them launched at the latter, a succession of rehearsals without the slightest pressure, in DIY, captured on cassettes.

In 1957, in the Mayak nuclear complex in the USSR, the first and one of the worst nuclear disasters of all time took place. An incident with dramatic consequences whose existence was concealed for several decades. Rich in this symbolism of disaster like the punishment of guilty pride and a noise that has remained silent, Maïak unpacks a dark and powerful instrumental rock, fluctuating between tenuous melancholy and chaotic explosion. Created in 2010, Maïak is made up of four members from different backgrounds and musical projects. This is what gives his compositions an originality and a particular flavor.
