PLAID
An institution since the late 80s, they are monumental cornerstones for any self-respecting fan of electronic music, mostly under the name Plaid, but also under aliases such as The Black Dog and Balil – not to mention their work with Bjork.

Their 11th album Feorm Falorx is generally softer than the dark angularity of its predecessor Polymer, but it is no less profound, and retains the melodism for which they are loved. It's as rhythmic as ever – running through 'Set If Off' hi-hats, digitized harpsichords, mangled mandolins, cascading strings, crass bass lines, Mercurial grooves and even a touch of gothic guitar.

Photoktet
Photoktet is the project of two Genevan musicians, Jérôme Grandchamp aka Photocell and Olivier Kolly aka Oktet. Their varied influences come together around this collaboration to produce ambient and melodic music that is characterized by a melancholic atmosphere. They perform mainly with modular synthesizers, instruments that they particularly like.
