Born in Angola, in a rich musical environment, Pongo moved to Portugal at the age of eight to escape the civil war. In Lisbon, she quickly established herself on the Kuduro scene, which is a musical genre and a dance originating in Angola. Having joined the mythical group BurakaSomSistema which popularized this style in the 2000s, Pongo then decided to develop his own project. It thus becomes the spearhead of this new generation which brings Kuduro up to date on the international scene.
