As the guys at Fabric say, it’s pretty hard to talk about Detroit-born DJ Bone without using the word “underground.” Bone rose through the ranks in Detroit thanks to his weekly sets at Love Club (The Shelter), where his techno selections earned him the kind of dedicated following that DJs can only dream of. At one point, he had so many residencies at various clubs in the Motor City that he played five nights a week, rubbing shoulders with everyone from Juan Atkins to Jeff Mills. He’s the boss of two of Detroit’s most rarefied labels, and has shown an unwavering commitment to his cause as a producer, releasing an album, Out Of Nowhere, along with a whole bunch of 12โณ raws and EPs. .
The word legend is often used in the world of electronic music, but sometimes, however, it seems like the right word to use. DJ Bone is steeped in Detroit history and is one of the most accomplished techno DJs in the world. His passion and unique skills shine through in everything he does and have not only earned him his place among techno royalty – Mills, DVS1, Ben Sims, Dave Clarke – but also as an inspiration to a generation of older DJs. young like Ben Klock and Ben UFO. His fervor and enthusiasm for DJing even caught the eye of John Peel, who invited him to perform live in front of an audience at the BBC’s Maida Vale studios in 2001 – a real blast when we know that only Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke had the honor to do so before him. After a partial break from touring in the early 2010s, Bone is back in full development with his alias Differ-Ent, performing as headliners at clubs and festivals across Europe.

Pillar of La Graviรจre (we love them) better known as Olivier Kolly, Oktet is undoubtedly an experienced DJ, likely to surprise his audience at each performance, thanks to the inventiveness of his selections. His rich background, from the sound of theatrical pieces to live performances cut out for the dancefloor, says a lot about his eclecticism and his know-how. Constantly in search of new sound explorations, he affirms his Techno side under his alias Oktet, with strength, power and creativity.
