The Dr. Watson Band

Founded in 2002 by Swiss-American pianist/singer/songwriter Dennis Watson, the Dr. Watson Band has played several hundred concerts since. In 2004, they released an album, "Welcome to the World," featuring 13 original songs. Initially formed to perform their own compositions, their repertoire has grown over the years to include rock, blues, and country classics.

For this special blues evening at BAG, the focus will be on the blues, with pieces from Freddie King, Muddy Waters, the Allman Bros. Band, Jimi Hendrix and others, and, of course, some original songs.

The members of the group are:

Dennis Watson - Keyboard, Vocals

Alain Niederhauser: Guitar, Vocals

Luc Schuwey: Bass

Pascal Jean: Drums

And possibly a few surprise guests!

The Lawdy Mamas

Formed in Geneva in 2016, The Lawdy Mamas bring together four musicians from different local bands around a shared passion: powerful and timeless rock. Steppenwolf.

The group revisits the world of this legendary 70s band, known in particular for its iconic song Born to Be Wild.

After exploring the facets of this free and wild rock, The Lawdy Mamas expand their repertoire with covers that take us on the roads of South Blues and American rock, revisiting songs by artists like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Larkin Poe.
