Born at the end of the tune of “Peace and Love”, The Lords of Altamont embodies raw and furious psychedelic garage rock'n'roll. The group bears its name in honor of the infamous Altamont free concert (December 6, 1969).
Besides holding their first show at legendary venue The Garage in Hollywood, the band's highlights include touring as opening acts for their early rock n roll idols The Cramps and rock gods The Who, as well as the presence of the late Michael Davis of the MC5s among their former members.
After some adventures and changes in the group during these last 18 years, the talented The Lord of Altamont continues to captivate the audience with unparalleled performances.
