Thurston Moore was born on July 25, 1958 in Florida. It was at the beginning of the 80s that he began to make a name for himself on the New York scene, then throughout the world: he was the guitarist of the legendary Sonic Youth. Artistically speaking, beyond Sonic Youth, Thurston Moore appears in dozens of projects, often as a collaborator, we think of Lydia Lunch or Mike Watt (Minutemen). He is often claimed for the tortures of guitars and other noise aggressions of which he has the secret.

His latest work from his seventh full solo album BY THE FIRE has previously been described as “Mesmerizing” (Rolling Stone) and “Righteous” (The Independent). Released on September 25, 2020, Thurston features songs like "flames of rainbow energy, where the power of love becomes our call. They are love songs at a time when creativity is our dignity, our demonstration against the forces of oppression.”

Seafoam Walls
Seafoam Walls started in a bedroom in 2014. This project serves as an intangible space for the exploration of the self and one's environment. The compositions address themes that involve identity, philosophy and experiences within current social constructs. Foam green remains the group's favorite color and lines the walls of its décor. This concept acts as a chromotherapy which embellishes the mood when one isolates oneself with one's thoughts in a foam green room. With hints of hip-hop, jazz, shoegaze and indie rock, their sound stands out for its uniqueness.
