Presented as a preview at the Watches and Wonders salon, the Time Design exhibition will be revealed to the general public for the first time at the Pont de la Machine in Geneva from 14 April to 8 May 2022.
This unique exhibition takes the visitor on a journey through the creative journey of watchmaking from the 17th century to the present day.
In the showcases designed by the students of ECAL (Lausanne Art School), over 180 sq. m of exhibition space, visitors will discover around a hundred exceptional timepieces which have marked the history of the watch. These models either draw on the great watchmaking tradition or unveil a resolutely futuristic design.
The work of Mr Gérald Genta, an exceptional watch designer, who reveals himself through his watches, drawings and paintings, will be the subject of a special display.
Finally, the visitor is invited to question the future through five works created by students from HEAD (Geneva Art and Design School).
Also, worth noting, an Augmented Reality experience, enables curious visitors to immerse themselves in the history of five watchmaking icons.
